Materials: Binchotan charcoal made from ubame oak
Dimensions: Available in bags of two or four purifying binchotan charcoal sticks. Each bag includes an assortment of charcoal pieces of roughly the same size, typically about 5" long and 1" wide.
Use: After opening, rinse and gently brush two sticks of purifying binchotan charcoal. Then, place in boiling water for 10 minutes to activate. Once cool, add sticks to up to one gallon of tap water and let sit for several hours.
Care: Boil again every three weeks. Two sticks will last three months. Used purifying binchotan charcoal sticks can be broken up and added to your garden to help aerate the soil. Please note that this charcoal cannot be used for grilling or burning of any kind.
